How do I earn from investing in an artist?
You can earn both a recurring income and a significant one-time profit:
When buying and holding an artist's tokens (like stocks) you gain rights for a share of the royalties generated on Tone by that artist - every month you will receive your payout.
When selling artist's tokens you own you can potentially earn a significant one-time profit by selling at a higher price than you paid.
If the artists you believe in succeed and grow - you earn.
What determines the price of an artist's token?
Tone's artist token market is a free market - prices are determined by trading activity, just like a stock market.
However, because owning artist's tokens gives rights for royalties, the price of their token is likely to go up the more the artist is successful.
When can I buy/sell artists tokens?
On Tone you can trade 24/7. Your investment is completely liquid and you can opt in/out at any given moment.
What is the minimum investment amount?
There is no minimum investment amount.
What is in the Beta?
In our Beta you'll be able to listen to and invest in a select group of our featured emerging artists!
Initially everything will be free. You can stream music and play around with test funds - perfect for getting a feel and testing your artist investment abilities.
We will also hold simulated investment competitions with real money prizes!
